A letter book of copies of James Beekman's business letters from 1766 to 1775 and from 1780 until 1799. The bulk of his letters were written in New York. The addresses of correspondents are not usually given, but most are Londoners. Some of the correspondents are Samuel and Thomas Fludyer, Thomas Harris, Pomeroy & Hodgkin, John Peach of Peach and Pierce, Thomas Owen and many more.
